Touring Santa Fe in the Rain

Since we only had one day in Santa Fe we tried to hit the highlights. We did a lot of walking in the rain and I purchased a sterling silver bracelet from a Native American artist at the Palace of the Governors. Photographs of the places we visited are below...

Scenic photograph on our way to Santa Fe from Albuquerque.

The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum; I am a big fan and I loved the gallery.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi.

Rose window.

The Loretto Chapel.

The staircase inside the Loretto Chapel. The staircase has two 360 degree turns, no visible means of support, and was built without nails - only wooden pegs.

San Miguel Mission.
[Info. Note: "Oldest Church structure in the U.S.A. The original adobe walls and altar were built by Tlaxcalan Indians from Mexico under the direction of Franciscan Padres. ca.1610"]
