I've included a few video's of the shinkansen (bullet train) we rode to Kyoto from Osaka.

When we arrived in Kyoto we ate at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant at the train station. Our luggage was so large the waitress was wide-eyed when she saw all of it. There was no room for our luggage next to our seats, so the waitress stored it near one of prep-stations within eyesight.
