Last Saturday it was quite the trek to get from Utsunomiya to Toyama. I went as follows: shinkansen (bullet train) to Tokyo, transfer to a regular train, then monorail to Haneda Airport, flight to Toyama Airport, and then taxi to the hotel. I was wore out from the travel.
