Valentines

Valentines 2010: flowers and chocolate covered strawberries!
Since flowers don't last long and the strawberries even less so, I took some photographs.
Love you Hubby!

Random Pics of Our Cute Nephew

Baby Jacob in the bomber hat we found him.

He's wearing the Baby Beluga onesie that I made him during the baby shower!

Yes, I can burp a baby; who woulda thunk it.

Watch out for that mean Red Crab!

Yeppers, smiling with a binky.

Faux Hawk

After a bath given by Auntie Ginger and Uncle Ken, it was time for food and a faux hawk hairdo for Baby Jacob. Bath time went well (happy cooing and no crying) - Auntie and Uncle FTW!

FINGER PUPPETS!
Red Crab, "I'm gonna pinch your face."
Pink Bug, "Noooooooooooooooo!"

Sushi Class with Mom

Mom and I attended a sushi class offered by Master Sushi Chef, Joe, from the Mt. Fuji restaurant located in Sandy. We learned how to make sushi rice, rolled sushi (Makizushi), hand-formed sushi (Nigirizushi), and hand-rolled sushi (Temakizushi). We learned a lot, ate some that we made, and brought home the left-overs to the husbands.

Ken's B-Day

Ken cooked up dinner: miso marinated salmon with sake butter on top of white rice served with snow peas. He is quite the chef, so as a birthday gift, I found him a chef's hat and a few new kitchen tools. In the evening, the family adored the baby, played Rock Band, and ate cherry-chocolate cake.

Two people lighting 33 candles + time to do so = wax covered cake.
